ELIA BEACH – AG.PAVLOS – (PETROS ROCK)
This high-level, easy route starts from the roadside just opposite the back entrance of our hotel, Athena Pallas Village, at Elia beach. It is a stress-free woodland walk, along forest roads and narrow footpaths, which give a fine view of the coastlines. The walk leads to the church of Paul the Apostle (St. Paul), on the hill above Elia Beach. Moving on a little higher and at an altitude of 300 meters, is Petros’ Rock, a large rock surrounded by trees that offers a spectacular view of the entire peninsula.

NEOS MARMARAS – PARTHENONAS
This walk leads to the very old and traditional village of Parthenonas. The hiker is given two alternative ways of ascent and descent, depending on one’s abilities. The first path, the strenuous path, includes an old water mill and a dam. Afterwards, it climbs straight up a ridge, through olive groves and forest, to reach high forest paths leading to the village. Alternatively, one can ascent from “Drosia” tavern via easy forest roads. The descent can be either by route A or by the steeper and more picturesque route B.

NIKITI – AG.NIKOLAOS
This walk is a circular route, which uses mainly forest paths that cross over the hill behind Nikiti, to visit the small village of Agios Nikolaos (Saint Nicholas). The starting point is beside the school in Nikiti. Upon coming from the north, turn left at the traffic lights, and you will find a parking place along the roadside. The school is on the left side of this road, not far from the traffic lights.
